Masters hockey is growing across the region with opportunities arising with increasing regularity.
For clubs who may not have enough mature players, the EH competitions allow guests from other clubs, providing they do not play for their own or another club in the same age group. Contact your club rep if you would like support.

Club Success Highlights
A stand out award this season goes to Cath Coombs, a local legend, was awarded the British Empire Medal for her outstanding contribution to hockey. Huge congratulations to Cath.
Avon team Werey’s win England Hockey’s 055’s Women’s shield.

We are proud to give credit to one of very own Avon Women’s Masters teams – Werey’s. On 3rd May 2025 they were due on the pitch at Nottingham Hockey Centre to take on Hendon & Mill Hill.
Following a high-tense, high-pressure game Werey’s were crowned winners with a 5-0 victory.

Achievement in the men’s section
- Bristol & West O35s – Winners of the Men’s O35 Shield Final, defeating Amersham & Chalfont.
- Clifton Robinsons O45s – Reached the EH Cup Final, finishing with a silver medal against Old Cranleighans.
- Clifton Robinsons O55s – Runners-up in the EH Tier 3 Plate, losing to Atherstone Adders.
